We are thrilled to announce that LPN Studios teen student Ella McDonald has booked her first job on Mixed-ish and will be airing TODAY! You can catch her on ABC at 9pm!
Mixed-ish is a show that follows a racially mixed family in the 80's and the constant dilemmas they had to face over whether to assimilate or stay true to themselves. The family moved from a hippie commune to the suburbs to better provide for themselves. As the parents struggle with the challenges of their new life, the children navigate a mainstream school in which they're perceived as neither black nor white. The family's experiences illuminate the challenges of finding one's own identity when the rest of the world can't decide where you belong.
